I enjoy all my trips to the Dillonverse - this was a great story that combines all my best (and craziest) memories of taking kids to school with a wonderful Rogues couple. Thanks for the link here!

Another great story! You really have a way of bringing a fullness to the characters you write - you make the Rogues truly enjoyable characters to read. Thanks for linking us to it here!

Thank you very much! I was nervous about whether the recipient would like it, but she seems to I haven't written much Axel before, and Joey just made a cameo in one of my 'Farcebook' parodies.

It was the Top's birthday yesterday (for those unaware, the 1976 DC calendar established birthdays for many DC characters), so I wrote something short and silly. dillonmania.livejournal.com/6206.html(Wally's birthday was about a week ago, actually).

That was great! I want fireworks too!!!
Sorry I missed the birthdays - I don't have that DC calendar (wish I did), so if you could post them on a thread that would be exceptional. Thanks!

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it I don't have that calendar either (I do have the 1978 calendar), but somebody online has helpfully put up all the dates on it. I'll start a thread about it!

I've had terrible writer's block for a while, and forced myself to write a few drabbles and ficlets (extremely short stories) in an attempt to break it. Not sure it worked, but here they are: dillonmania.livejournal.com/6914.htmlI've also been working on (and procrastinating on) a massive story that's due June 1. I can't imagine anyone would want to read it because it's long and also kind of grim, but yay, now you know it's in the works! And it'll include an illustration or two by a fan-artist.

These very short stories remind me of something I truly enjoy in your writing - you bring out their motivations and backstories so well. Your stories give us insight into who these people are and why they do the things they do. I only wish more writers of comics published today understood this as well as you do. I'm looking forward to that longer story when it is ready!

Here's the huge (16,600 words) fic I've been working on for ages. The Professor's Army: archiveofourown.org/works/823258There's violence and death in it, and it's thus appropriately grim. But if that's something you're okay with, I hope you enjoy it.

WOW! That was gripping! Roscoe was truly frightening and Lisa was absolutely bad-ass! This was a great story all around! I did find myself cheering for he Betas a lot...but every twist and turn was simply outstanding. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Thank you very much for reading (I know it's a lot), and I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was fun to work on, and was in the works a long time. The prologue was written in 2010. In the end, the story was actually a lot less grim than originally envisioned, believe it or not :> And yeah, the Betas are the sort of underdogs it's nice to root for because they were treated so badly, but in other ways they get off easier than the Alphas. There'll be a new Rogues fic posted each day for about a week at the Rogues bang comm -- mine was just the first. I don't know if people here are interested in the others or not. Maybe I should start a new thread for it. roguesbang.livejournal.com/

That's a great story once again! Btw - I grew up in Cardinals country, which has a very large fan base geographically...and those games with the Cubs are a big deal. It makes a lot of sense that all these folks would travel to Chicago for the game. And, I found myself smiling through the whole story. Thanks for sharing the link!
