The other day whilst shopping in Wal-Mart (Wally World!), I came across this: There was only one amidst other cars such as Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. It was only about $3-4 . At first, the design didn't really appeal to me. I continued shopping and the more I thought about it, the more it grew on me and of course, it's Flash! So why not? After I finished getting what I came for, I went back to the toy section to pick it up and it was gone! Only Aquaman and Plastic Man cars were left! Oh the horror! I missed the car. I feel so ashamed.

I am so sorry that you missed it - this actually looks pretty cool to me (but then I go back to the original Hot Wheels back when I was a kid and we all wrote on stone tablets... )

Noooooooo! It's disturbing how often that happens with action figures/toys....

Yeah, guess I wasn't fast enough.
I have found it on Amazon though, for around the same price, so maybe I'll get after all. Still, I remember these cars being much cheaper back in the day..........

I saw an older Hot Wheels Flash car a few weeks ago, and the thing looked like a recoloured hearse...which was an odd choice. I guess it was a station wagon.
Even so, I don't really see the connection between speedsters and station wagons.
