Here's a link to my review of Grodd #1. There is one major miss in my review, and if I had it to write again I would address that one thing...but I will leave it to you to guess what that is. Anyhow, your own reviews and links to other reviews are welcome here! Here's that link: speedforce.org/2013/09/grodd-review/

Major miss? Well, I guess you could have mentioned that Grodd claims Flash is dead. But that seems to be the case with all these villain comics — every hero is dead, or more likely, just missing.
As for this issue, I really enjoyed it. It was exciting and shocking, and I felt bad for a lot of the minor characters shown here. But this story did remind me a lot of Grodd's Flashpoint issue, unfortunately. I would have preferred a little more originality.
But how does everyone feel about the 3-D cover? I had the choice to buy 3-D or 2-D, and after comparing them side-by-side in the store, I chose 2-D. Yes, the extra dollar did help, but mostly, I did not like the 3-D effect. At all. I was kind of confused to see so many people on Twitter praising the 3-D. Just a personal preference, I guess. Credit to DC for making both options available.

I chose the 3-D personally, and really enjoyed the issue. I did think that the other villains weren't given enough "face-time", but it did drive home the point of what Grodd is all about.
Great issue, can't wait for Reverse Flash & The Rogues!!!!!
