Oh really? Glad it's reasonably accurate then! I did think it was interesting to make Len a Cubs fan rather than a bit closer to home, but I'm not sure if the exact location of Keystone/Central had been decided when that story came out, aside from 'somewhere in the Midwest'. Central City was implied to be in Ohio at one point (which is where my mother is from, and she attended the same college as Cary Bates at around the same time). Later there was an issue in which Len got drunk and went on a mild rampage because he was angry the Cubs lost -- poor Len! And thanks for reading and the kind words

Why us it that I love the Rogues even more when you write about them? I enjoy the details as much as the main plot line (paying with stolen money was perfect!). Thanks for the link!

Thank you My next piece is also super-short -- I'll be posting it for Tumblr's Heat Wave day on August 10.

In the end it seems I may have been the only person to participate in Heat Wave Day :> No matter! Here's my very short fic -- it does contain some disturbing imagery, however. dillonmania.livejournal.com/8780.html

That is both amazing and truly disturbing - felt like I was inside his mind. Wow!

Thank you very much! It was an interesting to write, I don't handle Mick very often.
And thanks for reading it; virtually nobody else has :>

My latest -- The Ties That Bind. This one co-stars Wally West alongside Roscoe Dillon, and since I don't write Wally very often I hope he was done justice. archiveofourown.org/works/999576

Great story! This is a very interesting angle that I wish DC would use. It would work even within the framework of the New 52, and I know a story like this would get a big-time response. I still say you should share your stories with folks who could get you into this for a career. I really enjoy your fanfics!

Thank you very much I'd love to see this kind of story at DC, but sadly I don't think it's ever going to happen (except maybe in Morrison's Multiversity series). And generally comics pros don't read fanfic, as they're concerned about possible lawsuits in case they inadvertently copy something from a fic and get sued. It's nice to think about, though! Thanks for reading and commenting

Very short story -- it has a bad ending for one of the characters, but that's taken directly out of DC canon. Still, people are warned. The Senator and the Supervillain: archiveofourown.org/works/1144571

Great story...got a bit of a chill reading it. I'd forgotten about this particular character and what happened in canon. I always enjoy reading your stories!

Thank you I've always felt really bad for O'Neill -- he was a bit smarmy and overly glib, but clearly didn't deserve the fate he got (and you'll notice in Johns' run that the Top's cell says "Thomas O'Neil" -- it was spelled wrong -- rather than "Roscoe Dillon", which also sucks for Tom)
