IT WORKED!!!!! Well, maybe it was just a matter of time but I'm sure my campaign last year was a help in the right Direction The important thing is WE GOT WALLY COMING!!!! Well, as a figure anyway. For those of you not following news from SDCC Wally West WILL be getting his own figure from the pics shown (see link below) it looks like Wally's original shiny suit from Flash 50-131 which is fine as that's the suit I personally most associate him with. True it's a sub-figure but then so was Jay Garrick and i got him for $30 or so at my LCS a few weeks after his release Here's the news report from Our friends at Speed Force: speedforce.org/2012/07/breaking-news-wally-west-figure-finally-announced/#comments

If I were you, I would certainly claim some credit. That campaign was great...and the figure coming up is certainly great as well. Can't wait!

I'm glad...and also surprised that DC signed off on it, given DC editorial's current antipathy toward Wally.

I'm starting to notice some DCUC Wally figures popping up on Ebay. The sellers are all from China, so I really question the legitimacy of this.
I wonder if this is the actual figure, a knock-off prototype being passed as the real thing, or a custom to fool buyers.
Any thoughts?

If they're in China, they're quite possibly stolen prototypes or stolen early versions of the figures. That's actually really common.

Got in there, right when the gates opened and got one. Hopefully, Wally had better quality control over the Jay or Mirror Master. Both, especially Mirror Master, had incredibly loose leg joints. If Wally suffers from this problem as well, then I likely be less inclined to pick up future figures.
So, here is a question last May we got Jay. This May we got Wally. Think there will be a Flash next May? I'd love to see them do a Bart figure - I don't think he's had one yet in Mattel's lines. It would be cool to see him as Impulse.

uh oh! I hope everyone who wanted one got to order it i just went to the site a few minutes ago and found this instead: Usually when I see a page like this it means the old site is dead and gone never to return (on the other hand I did get a shipment of figure email with tracking number so all is not completely lost! Hoping this is only temporary.

Got a question for everyone here! Last May, I got the Wally West action figure. It was pretty sweet, but I had one issue with it: the ab crunch was terrible. If I tried to pose the figure, the ab crunch wouldn't stay in the position I was trying to get it at. It would return to the "standard" position. I figured it was probably a case of the joint not being fully in place. I tried to mess with it to see if I could get it right, but I never could. So, I looked on Ebay to see if I could buy a new Wally for a decent price and then sell off the older one. The new Wally came today and the ab crunch was doing the same thing! Is this common for all the Wally figures? Or do I just have horrible luck? EDIT: Scratch all that. After playing with it some more, I got it working. Just needed a little more playtime!
