Diamond Comics Distributors has released their Top 100 comics for August 2012, and the results are interesting to say the least. Here are the Flash related results for the month: - Justice League #12 came in at #4 for the month, behind only AvX (2 issues) and Batman.
- earth 2 #4 finished at #13, not far behind Detective[ and Action.
- The Flash #12 was #30 for the month, just behind Superman and well ahead of Wonder Woman.
- The Flash Annual #1 was at 37 for the month (not bad to see both Flash issues hitting in the top 40, all things considered).
- Teen Titans #12 came in at #39, meaning all Flash-related titles were in the top 40 for the month.
Our favorite speedsters still finished the month well ahead of most of the Marvel line-up, though obviously not in the Top 10 finishes enjoyed just after the New 52 hit. If there is more info I'll pass it along, but in the meantime here is the link to that chart from Diamond: www.diamondcomics.com/Home/1/1/3/597?articleID=125494

The sales numbers; though dropping slowly, are right where they should be. If you look at the DC books with higher sales you see Batman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, & Superman. As part of the "Justice League Family", The Flash is doing great! The Flash's Annual is side-by-side with Superman's, just a couple hundred issues difference in sales.
All-in-all, DC should be very happy when seeing The Flash from this perspective.
