Y'know, whether one loves the New 52 Flash or hates it, the one thing one cannot deny is that these guys have a clear plan with what they want to do with seemingly little editorial interference. I feel that in the comic industry (especially DC Comics as of late), unless they are a superstar writer/artist (and even then sometimes...), writers can't really tell the story they want to tell.
The fact they are able to do this (and successfully when looking at sales) encourages me about the future of the comic medium.

I completely agree. M&B appear to have a clear vision for The Flash, and it seems the only real editorial interference has been the inability to re-introduce Wally. I'm hoping the execs at DC will someday note the impact of frequent editorial input and creative team changes on sales, and will allow more opportunities for good creative teams to makes a series really work well.
