Confirmed by their August solicts, DC is cancelling four titles: Dial H, Threshold, Demon Knights.......and Legion of Superheroes.
Admittedly, Levitz's stories have been rather flat of late with some off-kilter characterizations. But to add insult to injury, in the latest story in which the team fights against the resurgent Fatal Five, half the team may end slaughtered by the bitter end.
Of course, there have been rumors of a revamp of sorts by re-making them into a more Justice League-style team.....whatever that means.
*sigh*

I'm not surprised Dial H is gone. I only picked up the one with the Flash (which was exactly what DC wanted), but I was thrown right into the middle of the story with no idea who was who or what was going on. They didn't give a me a good idea of what had previously happened, nor did they give me any reason to keep reading. Not to mention the unsavory artwork and questionable subject matter.

I'm really leaning toward the opinion that DC should "cut back" the amount of titles they are releasing every month....The New 52 is Old, let it go. Scale back to titles selling more than 25k per month, and wait a while....then try introducing a few new ones. This revolving door of cancellations that now has seen 20+ titles is hurting rather than helping....
Just as a side note....for all of the sub-par titles they have introduced and then cancelled....one that would be selling well above the cancellation line is a second Flash title starring Wally West. Just saying. Politics suck.
