I know I haven't posted in a while and apologise , as I did last year I thought I would share my FCBD experience again, this time I was up early and left with my nephew at about 9am and we got to the first queue at Forbidden Planet at around 9:25am which went right around the corner outside, whilst there I got chatting to a nice couple from Hertfordshire and the time quickly passed till we could go in and we were handed a bag of comics each, My nephew and I then showed them to our next stop Orbital Comics which was opening at 10:30am, there were lots of cosplayers around, I spotted One dressed as Adam West Batman and at least two Deadpools.
When we got in Orbital we was told we could now pick 5 comics of our choice(last year was 3) , I ended up choosing Futures End, Mouse Guard, World Of Aspen, Power Rangers and 2000ad, Once I got my comics I bought the new Teen Titans Superboy figure and my nephew and I said goodbye to the couple then headed back to Forbidden Planet where we were both given some more comics each, I bought a little flash keyring and we then got some lunch and headed home
Last year I had 9 fcbd comics, this year I counted 18, my nephew and I both had a really good day, definitely going next year and will hopefully have a better camera by then to take some pictures with.
How was Free Comic Book Day for you?

Thanks for posting your experience with FCBD 2014! Strangely enough, I had to attend a workshop on Saturday and had to depend on my son for my free books, along with a small number of review copies that were sent my way through a few publishers. I did enjoy Mouse Guard and Power Rangers, and also enjoyed the Valiant, Action Lab and Image books. How about the rest of you? How was your Free Comic Book Day?
