Hello everyone! I'm going to my first con ever tomorrow, MegaCon in Orlando, hopefully to get some of my favorite Flash and Green Lantern books signed by Geoff Johns, Ethan Van Sciver, maybe Mark Waid, and maybe a couple of things by George Perez, etc., and just had a couple of questions. First, it doesn't seem like they do, but do they usually charge for autographs? Also, is there any kind of etiquette on how many items you can have signed by each person. I saw on another site that Geoff Johns was really good about signing multiple items. I certainly don't want to be rude and impose, but I would like to have at least a couple of things signed.
Some of the things I'm thinking about to have signed are a couple of copies of The Flash: The Dastardly Death of the Rogues (one as a birthday present for my dad, who got me into the Flash with the comics he grew up with), The Flash Rebirth, Absolute Green Lantern Rebirth, Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds, maybe Blackest Night, maybe Infinite Crisis.
EDIT: Oh, and any specific issues out of any of those series that'd be more valuable to have signed?
I'd love to hear any thoughts or advice you might have!

Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your first con. I supposed to go to my in May but things came up. Try checking the site for any prices or restrictions. I know everyone differs on how much thy're willing to sign. So if all else just ask them personally what they're okay with.

I remember going to the first conventions in Glasgow, many moons ago! One of the things that really sticks in my memory was Adam Hughes sketching and being really surprised that guys were just giving away their sketches, whilst all the British artists seemed to think this was the natural thing to do. Don't get me wrong, Hughes, one of the finest artists of our time in my opinion, wasn't being an arse, he was simply stating how things were different across the water. His sketch of Wally sits proudly in my sons room, along with my framed "Flash of two earths" issue
