DC's blog has a story (as does Newsarama on their announcement at Fan Expo Toronto of a NEW ongoing JLA (yes, Justice League of America) series starting in 2013. This series does not replace Justice League, but is rather an additional title (also written by Geoff Johns) featuring "an underdog" group of characters determined to prove they are "as A-list as anybody". The line-up includes:

Lots to talk about here, such as:
1. How do Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow and Hawkman, all classic JLA'ers from the silver age, fit in with the additional members?
2. How does Catwoman fit into this? I know she has walked both sides of the law, but JLA membership is a very big step for her.
3. How will Stargirl be written now that she is no longer a JSA member in the New52? What will be her origin?
4. Will Vibe be written in a way that makes a good impression this time around (leaving behind the stigma so many fans place on the Detroit League)?
5. And the obvious question - how will this fit in with the upcoming Trinity War?
As for me, I'm looking forward to this. I was a bit disappointed to see Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow and Hawkman left out of this version of the Justice League, and I'm very happy to see a 2nd generation JSA member showing back up in continuity. Let's hear your thoughts on this one!
- Martian Manhunter
- Green Arrow
- Katana
- The new Green Lantern named Baz
- Steve Trevor (yep, Steve is in the picture anyways)
- Vibe
- Hawkman
- Catwoman, and...
- Stargirl (ah, one of the new generation JSA'ers will hit here!
