My review of Flash #16 is up at Speed Force. It is a real treat and an honor to post reviews there, having followed Kelson's Flash-related sites for several years. Please feel free to add your comments here, along with links to your own reviews and to other reviews you find that you wish to share. Thanks! Here's that link to the SpeedForce review: speedforce.org/2013/01/fastest-man-alive-close-shave/

Terrific review.
Interesting that we finally get to see Barry and Iris' only date followed by Barry and Patty admitting their love for each other. I was one of the fans who initially did not like the idea of breaking up Barry and Iris. However, I do feel Manapul and Co. have done well in developing his new relationship with Patty, with this issue's admittance having an aura of 'About Time!' to it.
And yet, seeing how Iris felt about what she did to Barry, even if the act was because she wanted to help Daniel, I still have hope for Barry and Iris. They've laid the foundation for a very subtle love triangle here...maybe.
Very cool trick by Barry, using the power of his Speed Mind to literally take them all to the Speed Force. And 'King of the Speed Force'? Interesting title as kings have been dethroned before.
Curse my tattered memory, does that guy in the tank even have a name? And why is he glowing?! And will anyone stop the rampaging woolly mammoth??!!
Argh, this issue went by so fast. Can't wait for the next.

The glowing guy is named Albert. I don't know if there were any notable Alberts in older Flash stories, but basically all we know about this one is that he's an engineering major who didn't know about the TV show "Lost." I know some people think Wally will be the Reverse Flash, but right now I'm putting my money on this Albert kid.
As for the Barry-Patty-Iris love triangle — I'm getting the feeling that Patty isn't too keen about her boyfriend being a superhero. I think as soon as everything settles down, she'll break up with Barry and he'll go back to Iris.

Great Review xBarryxAllenx! I like that it was a surprise, unexpected, and new "power" shown by The Flash....but I'm not sure I like the "power" itself (...if that makes any sense?). I suppose since Superman has his Fortress, Batman has his cave, etc....so why shouldn't The Flash have his own place too?
I enjoyed the issue greatly, and the art is just awesome!

Thanks for the kind words about the review! That is an interesting take on the Speed Force as Fortress/Batcave...who knows? It could go that way - though the next issue may have something to say about that...

Yes - I'm now a regular reviewer, and still a bit amazed that this is the case. I've been following Kelson's Flash-related websites for a very long time (counting back I think it is more than 15 years) and to be a part of this is truly an honor. I'll be reviewing Flash and other comics in which one or another Flash appears (like Earth 2, Teen Titans, Justice League, and guest appearances (a LOT are coming up). I'll still be here, of course - but now instead of linking you to my Tumblr for a review I'll send you over to Speed Force. All that said - I really like YOUR reviews! Thank you so much for posting links here. All reviews are welcome here, and they always will be!

Yes - I'm now a regular reviewer, and still a bit amazed that this is the case. I've been following SpeedForce.org for, I dunno, two or three years now, and as great as it is, it almost never seemed to have reviews of the actual comics it was talking about. Glad to see that "missing piece" as it were is no longer going to be missing!
