A Powerless Barry Against A Prison Full of Villains! (Review of Flash #19) — By Ed Garrett speedforce.org/2013/04/powerless-barry-prison-full-villains-review-flash-19/Excellent review. Excellent issue! Barry is amazing on this issue. As soon as Barry gets his powers back and is again in his costume, Albert says this to the Flash: “Hey, you know who you should team up with? Barry! He was incredible…totally cool under fire. Maybe that’s his super power, to be a total badass”. Indeed. And Cyborg says: And he is right. With or without powers, Barry is a hero because he's a really nice guy that risks himself with no blinking just to make the right thing. And this makes him the ultimate hero.

I would agree with some of your comments speedster.
The reveal of Marissa as the thief/murderer did feel forced, as if a scapegoat was needed to close out this story and she was available.
Was Trickster released from jail? Was he arrested for breaking out of jail even if he was wrongly incarcerated in the first place? Some more exploration/explanation of his new relationship with this Outlander Tribe would have been nice as well.
But power-less Barry doing his best John McClane impersonation was fun to see. Seeing him drag his bag of Rogues weapons around, having boomerangs strapped to his waist, Barry was kicking butt.
Though he needs to work on his lying. His attempts to justify his presence in the prison to Albert were mighty weak.
The most disturbing item from this issue was Barry's concerns over Iris, who supposedly has not manifested any Speed Force powers even though everyone else has. I'm beginning to suspect that she may have some connection to the new Reverse-Flash.
