Honestly, Barry is better placed here than in Justice League. Geoff Johns seems not to know what to do with him there and he feels displaced where he should fit so well. We don't feel like he's the same Barry Allen we know from his series. But here, where he's really displaced, we see him acting more like his well-known self. Lemire writes Barry better in JLD than Johns in JL, when Johns decides to put finally Barry fighting along the Justice League. It's something to think about: maybe they should transfer Barry to JLDark, where he can act as a link to science (and discover more about the mystical nature of the Speed Force) and as a moral compass to balance the cynicism of Constantine. It's better than see Barry being poorly used and misrepresented in Justice League series.
