OK, folks, we've gotten through Flashpoint and the first two issues of The Flash. What's your take on the Flash so far? How about the DCnU in general?
As for me - I'm truly impressed with things so far, and I'm a raving fan of Manapul and Buccellato. Yes, like a lot of folks I still want to see a way to bring both Wally and Jay back - and I'm still holding out hope for both. But overall I like what I've seen so far.
But, what about you? Here's your chance - sound off!

I have mixed feelings. It's definitely a well-done comic: beautiful art, light-hearted and fun instead of the unrelenting grimness in much of the DCU, and nothing in the comic has pissed me off yet (unlike much of the rebooted stuff I've read).
That said, I'm finding it a bit flat so far, and unfortunately I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get over the reboot changes. I don't like Barry never having been married to Iris, and so forth. And I suspect I won't like the newly-powered Rogues.
So my feelings are mixed and I'm not sure I'll ever be happy with the new continuity. I don't know.

As for Flash, I like it so far. I've never had a problem with Barry but I understand everyone's frustrations over Wally's absence. I want to see Wally back as well. But the team so far have done a great job with this book, not being bogged down with trying to set-up some new status quo, just get up and go. The new changes are interesting, a different way to see Barry's abilities but have to wait and see how they fully develop it. As for DCnU....eh. As a reader, I was emotionally invested in the previous DCU for over 20 years. Given the time and money, I'm not really inclined to investigate this new DCnU especially given the new levels of sex, violence, and general darkness. The tone of the books are all over the map, signifying a lack of overall vision of presenting this new universe. In a way, we're back to 1986.
