This is a shot from inside the San Diego Convention Center. There are a couple of sets of escalators (far apart in the building) with this series of lighted circles high above the floor in between. You really can't see them well unless you are on one of the sets of escalators. It's a neat feature of the building - and I wish I could say I took this picture during Comicon. Nope, I took it instead during a very important convention for my profession - the ASHA Convention (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). This was a meeting of 10-12,000 Speech Language Pathologists (I'm one) and Audiologists. There were still remnants around town of Comicon, though. Maybe I can go back someday for that as well.
