Unsurprisingly, I didn't care for it. Sorry, when they muck with the Rogues like that, I'm not gonna like it. I think DC's made a huge mistake.

Understood - but I'm already seeing a few twists that I didn't expect. Just an issue ago we were worried about Barry being overpowered, and we're already seeing that being addressed in a surprising way. We'll see where it goes...

I'm not ruling out liking it once the story arc (or this particular run on the Flash) is finished, but at this point I'm not thrilled. This isn't necessarily Manapul and Buccellato's fault, of course -- some of these changes are probably part of DC revamping itself and changing in specific (such as a more youthful) directions.
Be that as it may, I still didn't like the issue and don't like the rebooted elements of the Flashverse. Not a good sign.

I would agree about the Rogues. They're tech-based, wielding great power yet their obsession with the Flash keeps them from using that power to it's terrible fullest. Seeing Snart standing there with his hands glowing blue seems...wrong. Is there a wasteland surrounding Central/Keystone City? Where was Elias searching for the source of the EMP? That seemed strange. Mob Rule is interesting so far, still undecided about Barry's new ability. The art, the ART....Wow. The double page spread of Barry approaching the plane, magnificent. Love the style of this book.
