I don't know whether or not Geoff Johns has any plans for her, but I think bringing her back into the Flash's life would be brilliant.
She could create some great tension between Barry & Iris or...
One possibility I see for her is to have Prof. Zoom insert himself into her life (as Eobard Thawne) before Barry gets a chance to and instead of getting "jilted" at the altar by Barry when he ended up killing Prof. Zoom she actually ends up marrying Thawne.

If Grant Morrison were writing the Flash instead of Geoff Johns, then I believe she already would have made an appearance of some sort. Morrison has a tendency to mine long forgotten elements from the 50s, 60s, 70s, & 80s and incorporate them into modern stories. Johns has been known to do the same but not to the same extent that Morrison does. For all we know he might have some plans for her in the future but he's just not "there" yet. |

It seems like Johns and Co. are actually phasing her out completely.
Back during the Fall of Green Arrow last year 9or the year before) Ollie used Barry's Killing Zoom to explain his killing of Prometheus.
Barry said he did it because Iris was in danger.
then, in the Flashpoint Reverse Flash special it shows zoom heading towards Iris to kill her and Barry breaking his neck. No Fiona Webb no wedding day, nothing of the original occurrence.
personally, this is one of those retcons I can do without.
