Lego Batman 2 dc superheroes

Out 22 June in uk so far have seen 2 dlc offers Amazon has the Villains pack featuring Captain Cold, Gorrila Grodd, Black Adam, Black Manta and Bizzarro, also comes with Lex Luthor Minifig.

Shopto.net are offering a 12 page comic with a dlc code for Harley Quinn's Bike

I think America gets the heroes dlc pack on amazon.com, I know you guys get it on the 19th June

Just thought it would be helpful to let people know what preorder deals I've seen

I went for the villains pack, can't wait to play as The Flash

I know nothing about these games -- do you have to buy the main game and then buy these packs separately? How much do they cost?

I probably won't buy it anyway because I'm not a gamer, but am just curious.

Basically the one I ordered has the Villains as dlc, and amazon will email me a code to unlock them, it's just a bonus for preordering them, but later it's likely the heroes pack will be available for everyone to download and I would have to pay for that, if I want it, the game creators set the price I think

I saw a video on YouTube and they mentioned another Flash villain is in the game, Captain Boomerang!

Amazon has the bonus Hero Pack for all pre-orders which features Nightwing, Shazam, Katana, Zatanna, and Damian.

Either way, definitely getting this game, should be a blast.

The reviews are starting to appear IGN 8.5/10 Videogamer.com 8/10 The Guardian 4/5, Metro 7/10

The game arrived this morning and I've been playing campaign mainly, and the graphics are really nice, the puzzles aren't too challenging, playing as Superman for the first time is great, controls really well in the levels, however it's a different story when flying in the open world, I'm sure I will get used to it in a while, there are on the rails shooting levels that while repetitive, don't last long and they don't feel like work, which was my biggest problem with the vehicle levels in Lego batman 1

I haven't unlocked the flash yet, so far I have only played as batman, robin and superman, although I do have the 5 villains dlc but haven't used them yet

Just a quick summary of the flash characters

The Flash - fun to use in the open world hub, his power just kicks in after running a couple seconds rather than having to press a button to do it, in the story mission I played as him he was oddly slower but still faster than the other characters

Captain Cold - fortunately(depending on preference) its the pre new 52 captain cold with gun, does what you'd expect him to, freezes enemies or punches at close range

Captain Boomerang - does what his name says, you have to hold punch and aim at enemies to target then release the same way as Batman does with the Batarang

Gorilla Grodd - pretty disappointing, no powers at all not even enhanced strength, no mind control, which I think could've been done as the riddler could control people at certain times during Lego Batman 1, all he does unfortunately is the basic punches and kicks

Interesting. Maybe I'll get the game if it's cheap, maybe not. I tend to lose interest in video games pretty quickly.
