I thought it was a good issue, Still don't like Jay's helmet but the costume isn't as bad as I thought, looking forward to seeing Alan become GL next issue

Thanks for the good review. I've been on the fence about reading this title, what with all the Internet hoopla over Jay's new costume and Alan's new lifestyle (which, I'll admit, I added my own penny into, the costume bit, that is), but I think now I will check it out (although digitally at this point)

I think Robinson is a terrific writer and he seems to care enough to spend quality time into creating this new world. Although I am wondering though is he is going to flip-flop things here. Traditionally, Jay got his powers from science and Alan from magic. Yet here, Jay is powered by magic so will Alan get his powers from science?

That's a good question - though I think there is going to be a somewhat mystical explanation for most, if not all the Earth 2 heroes now. I'm not certain about all the facts on Alan, other than that he won't have a ring and won't need a ring in order to access his Green Lantern powers. No matter what, based on what we've seen so far it should be interesting.
