This story is being reported by Bleeding Cool - thought I would pass it along as it had some items of interest to Flash fans. At Arizona Comic Con 2013, a DC panel had some news regarding their titles. Savage Hawkman is being cancelled (a shame as I always like Hawkman, but this version never really caught on in sales), Of interest to Flash fans, I Vampire (known to be on the cancelled list) had previously planned to have a visit from Barry Allen had the series continued. Looks like our New52 Scarlet Speedster has become the most famous guest in the DCnU with all the guest spots lately - sorry we don't get to see this particular visit, though. Here's a link to the story in Bleeding Cool: www.bleedingcool.com/2013/01/27/hawkman-cancelled-and-no-i-vampire-crossover-with-the-flash/

Hawkman by Johns and Rags Morales is my favorite Johns title besides his run on JSA. It also gave me a new appreciation for the character.
Hate to hear this title is being cancelled but not really surprised by it. I never read of any of it, something about the new concept and his new look kinda turned me off on the title.

I actually enjoyed the new look and the first couple of issues of The Savage Hawkman, but it quickly waned as more and more changes began to manifest (much like w/ Green Arrow). The story just fell on it's face.....I think they made changes to a lot of characters without "forecasting" how many stories they could do as time went on.
Hopefully Geoff Johns will begin "tweeking" Hawkman, Green Arrow, etc. in the new JLA title. Writers can then follow his "lead" in the future.
