Hi everyone!
I had a crazy idea and wanted to see if there was enough interest here to forge ahead with it.
Is anyone interested in doing a 'Rogues March Madness'? I've been doing something thinking about the topic on and off for a while now.
The basic idea would be that we'd approximately 32 villains within four divisions (each division named after a different Flash). It would start the week of March 17th (the same week as "real" March Madness) and go until finished (likely early April).
I've looked on line and found a few programs that can work for easy-to-use brackets and voting. It should be pretty easy to do, but I am uncertain if there would be enough interest to make it worthwhile.
So...good idea? Bad idea....?

This sound great! If you will put a bracket together I'm sure we can get the word out for a lot of votes.
@everyone - start nominating your Rogues!

May I choose two? Reverse-Flash (Eobard Thawne) and Captain Cold.

Good to see there is a positive reaction to this. For those of you who do not know what a March Madness is. Basically, it is a single elimination college basketball tournament in the United States. There are 68 teams separated into four regions. Each team plays a preselected rival at first until one remain. The bracket tournament has been used (before and after) by many face-off competitions. You can read more here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCAA_Men%27s_Division_I_Basketball_ChampionshipMy idea is instead of basketball, we use Flash villains. Set randomly in four divisions (Jay, Barry, Wally, and Bart), we will have a scheduled match-ups each day using "Survey Monkey" for people to vote. Progress can be tracked in a thread here and on a public account at HotBrackets.com. I can set all of this up. All anyone here would need to do is to vote in each match up. While I would discourage cheating by voting multiple times, I would encourage lively discussion to convince others to vote for your favorites in that day's match-up (each day would likely have 2-4 matches - all which could be voted on the same poll).

Here is a list of the Rogues I've gathered for the March Madness. There are 32 of them, and I tried to get a decent mix from all eras of the Flash. I also tried to avoid some of the more obscure ones, but I guess your mileage may vary.
Am I missing anyone important here?

This looks great to me! Let me know if you want to run this as a vote on this site or if you want to continue with survey monkey. I'm okay either way. Once you have the brackets ready, we'll ask speed force to help us publicize the event. Thanks!

Sadly I'm sure my favourites will be quickly eliminated, because I tend to gravitate towards unpopular characters :>

I dunno...you certainly have made me see the Top in a whole new light. And, these types of events always have at least one or two surprises.

Give me the weekend to put the bracket together and we can go from there.
In the meantime, are there any Rogues anyone feels I missed and should be included?

Oh, well, I'm glad to hear that, thank you Speedster, a few possible suggestions: -Owen Mercer -Technically there have been two different Dr Alchemies -- personally, I'd include Albert and Alvin but eliminate The Alchemist. You could say one is Dr Alchemy and one is Mr Element. -Since you have a Zoom and a Reverse Flash on your list, you might want to specify Zoom and Professor Zoom and whoever the New 52 guy is if you're planning to include him. -I don't know if you're interested in some of the Johns Rogues, but there's always guys like Tar Pit, Murmur, Double Down, Plunder, Girder, Cicada, Peek-A-Boo, and Fallout.

Okay....here we go. Sorry about the delay; the past few days have gotten away from me. Here is the bracket! I've been working on this thing most of the morning (the advantages of getting incredibly caught up at work allows me way too much freetime). Let me know if there seems to be any errors as I've been staring at the thing too long. From the villains selected: I know there are more out there and some were even suggested by dillonmania to include. Unfortunately, given the way the brackets break down, it was difficult to include *everyone* without it getting completely unwieldy. Hopefully, there is enough there to make most happy.

Holy smokes! That image was larger than I thought.
xBarryxAllenx, is there anyway to shrink it down to make it thread-friendly?
Also, when it comes to voting, can people vote in the thread polls if they are not registered here?

So do we vote for one from each pair? It's a very impressive graphic
