I thought accord to me the other day about the JL movie. Should the Flash die at the end to save the day or even just one person maybe hal. Im sure we all had crazy thoughts like this here and there but then a you tube show a watch got asked the same question today and i see that some people have the same idea running around there head. www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9NA3XlSNkoheres link to them discussing it. Good show for movie lovers btw. But heres my question to you Flash fans would you accept barry essentially sacrificing a solo film by dieing in jl even though it proably would proably give him some new fans and makeing him proably steal the show for JL. Keep in mind they could also do wally west flash movie down the line. Or would you like to see him live and get maybe two are three movies after risking that he never got enough spotlight in jl so the movies might not get that much notice.

"Should Flash die in JL movie?" No. No! No!!! One millions times No! Fuck the Justice League movie! Barry shouldn't die nor in a JL movie nor in his own movies! This very idea is pretty stupid. Why not kill Batman instead? His death would get more attention. I'd prefer the Flash out of the Justice League movies than he being there only to die or being there and making no difference, like in Johns's JL comics. I prefer a good Flash movie than an awesome Justice League movie with bad use of the Flash. And I don't care how non-fans will see Barry if he sacrifice himself in the movie, I just don't want him to die in no movie ever! I wouldn't pay to watch it!

I think that there was a point that I don't usually like to consider. We are all Flash fans here...but folks in the general public don't know him as well and may not be familiar at all with any of the various incarnations of the Flash. After all, we consider 100,000 copies of an issue being sold to be huge...in a nation of over 300 million and a world of several billion. In other words, I think we would need more than one huge group movie before Barry's sacrifice and making the switch to Wally.
If the Flash movie came first I could see this happening, though. There would be a solo movie to establish not only Barry as Flash but introduce Wally as Kid Flash. Then, a sacrifice in a JL movie would have more meaning. Still, this is a VERY interesting question, and I am looking forward to hearing even more from our members here.
Edit: the first response came in while I was typing my post. Everyone please add your thoughts as well. Thanks!

It's very rare for heroes to die in movies. In fact, the only one I can think of is X-Men: The Last Stand that killed of Scott, Jean and Prof. X. But that wasn't a well-received movie. I'm not saying it's impossible for a Justice League movie to kill the Flash, but it would be highly unlikely. I mean, would Marvel kill anybody in the Avengers (besides Agent Coulson)?
