Exclusive: Updates On Justice League, The Flash, Wonder Woman & Green Lantern Movies "We're told there are very early discussions about potential films that would be released in 2016. The Flash is the one Warner Bros. wants to put out. Regarding Wonder Woman, they feel the character will be introduced in the Justice League movie described as an 'outsider' to the world. Green Lantern's introduction will also come in the Justice League movie which 'WILL' be a new version of Hal Jordan. Our DC Entertainment source also said Zack and Deborah Snyder will be producing/executive producing The Flash with Geoff Johns helping the story as 'creative consultant'. The Flash featured would be the Barry Allen version. WB has about four scripts in the 'vault' with one said to be about Wally West, but our source says it is highly doubtful that it would get used. It is a case of finding and choosing the right script and director with a vision that keeps fitting with the world being built. David Goyer won't be scripting The Flash because he will be doing Justice League at the time, with Justice League eyed for a July 2017 release". movies.cosmicbooknews.com/content/exclusive-updates-justice-league-flash-wonder-woman-green-lantern-movies

If, and that is a big if, any of this happens, I feel that John Stewart would be the best GL to use. I know it might seem derivative of the Justice League cartoon, but it would still give some separation between this and the GL movie from 2011. And, more importantly, it would diversify the cast.
That said, I don't see why they couldn't use Ryan Reynolds (unless, of course, he turns down reprising the role).
ETA: I just saw this comes from Cosmic Book News, whose trustworthiness is questionable at best.
