***SPOILER ALERT****
After reading Kid Flash Lost #3, I'm simply speechless. Bart really was amazing in this story, and they gave the pre-DCnU Bart a terrific send-off. There were certainly echoes of Barry's sacrifice in CoIE, and some throw-ins from Blackest Night/Brightest Day as well. The only thing that didn't ring especially well was the "message" he gave Barry...it was almost a bit syrupy and melodramatic. But, it didn't take away the overall feel of the story for me. This was an amazing Bart story, and his resolution plays a critical role in the resolution of the whole event. Whatever they do to Bart's character in Titans in the DCnU, they would do well to keep the parts of Bart that made this story great.
Maybe I'm being a very old fanboy here but I loved this story...what are your thoughts?

It seems like many of the DCU's best and brightest were given decent send offs before the DCnU turns them into mishmash (well except for Wally of course.) The Lois and Clark Marriage in particular was given a very nice send off in both Action and Superman and I'm really going to miss it Bart also was sent into the next life with some nod to what was good about the Flash books for the last 25 or so years. (I like Barry, don't get me wrong, but I can't support such a heinous act of indifference as the one we're seeing here (not only towards Wally but to the relationship between Barry and Iris which is even more Sacred than Lois and Clark!!!!!)
