"This is an issue that will definitely create a lot of discussion – but there is still much of the story that is yet to be told. I’m hanging on for the ride here, to see what Venditti, Jensen, Booth and Rapmund have in store for us. The final verdict on this annual will be told in the way the arc turns out…hopefully we will look back on this one as a must-have collectible." -excerpt from Ed's Speedforce Review
My thoughts exactly. While a lot of pre-52 fans have been "up in arms" over what they believe is Wally who isn't really Wally because he's not a red-haired Caucasian, I've entered into this new, post-Manapul/Booch "era" with an open mind and heart in regard to the Scarlet Speedster and the "new" Wally West. The writing and art have been impressive, and I like that Venditti & Jensen are going a little more "sci-fi" in their approach to The Flash...
Also, I did NOT expect the Flash/Grodd battle to end as it did....

Great Review...and I agree 100%! I read #30 with an open mind, after the final exit of the Manapul/Booch team, and found that I really enjoyed the story and where it seems to be leading, and the artwork as well. I especially enjoyed the "two for one" story-telling by the creative team that allowed for more fluid movement and quicker pace when Barry Allen is meeting with the psychologist & The Flash is working overtime to help fix the Gem Cities.
I was impressed with Brett Booth's artwork, and in spite of all the hype...I have not "pre-judged" the Wally West storyline. I am willing to give it time to play out, and see where we stand at the end....Good Issue overall.

I like the mask and costume....and I've had good feelings about almost everything that the CW does with this genre, so I'm excited to see the pilot!!

I liked this short "fill-in" series, and how the story ends with the "revelation". I'm not sure if the new creative team will explore that revelation in detail....we'll have to see.
When thinking about how Flash "foils" the Keystone Killer, it occurred to me that the Flash's vibrations may go to his very "soul". Just a theory, but they could go places with a story arc about that....
Looking forward to the new team, and hope they do great!

I will admit that watching the trailer for the GOTG film was what peaked my interest in the GOTG. I picked up a few issues, and then the graphic novels (since the "new" incarnation of the team began, I guess there was a GOTG team that had different characters in the past). I will further admit that what intrigued me most about the GOTG was Rocket Raccoon. If you see my "signature", you'll see I have a love for anthropomorphized characters....so Rocket attracted me to the title.
Currently written by Brian Michael Bendis, the story is witty, fun, adventurous, and action-packed. I'm waiting for the release of Abnett & Lanning's collection later this year....
I'm really enjoying the series, and if you are as well...please give it a shout out here, and leave comments on your likes/dislikes about the series.

First and foremost, Patrick Zircher's artwork is growing on me....and I was a fan before he even joined The Flash title. A good story, co-starring Deadman, and I enjoyed the build-up...I think these final issues are Buccellato's "wrapping up", so I wouldn't be surprised if some characters (like maybe Singh or Patty, etc.) "bite the bullet" before he leaves....

"This is a great issue for anyone who ever argued with Bat-fans about which Rogues Gallery was the best. These blue-collar crooks with a code are amazing, and this series shows exactly why. I’ve said this with every review of “Rogues Rebellion”…my only complaint is that this is only a mini-series and not a full ongoing."
-Ditto! Couldn't agree more! Great Review!

I really liked Zircher's artwork, felt it is very fitting for this story arc....I'm hoping that Girder finds his way back from Grodd's wrath in the future.
It's a detective-like story; which I think Barry's character is perfect for, and hope they continue stories like these from time-to-time in The Flash title.
Buccellato's writing is great, and I wish him well with Manapul on Detective Comics.
Great Review on Speedforce!

Awful new team. Especially Brett Booth. I've enjoyed what Venditti has done in Green Lantern, and what I've seen of Booth's artwork seems okay...so I'm keeping an open mind.

Liked this stand alone story, Gage & Googe did a good job. I don't recall an entire Flash adventure taking place in the sky before, so the unique perspective was nice (perhaps one of our resident Flash historians will let me know).
I was impressed with Gage's writing. The story felt full of action, yet "lite on it's feet"....not over-dialogued, and he wasn't trying to pack too much story into the pages. Googe's artwork was decent-to-good,
Spitfire is a "one & done" criminal....overall, good job for a stand-alone issue.

Great Review on Speedforce...and I ditto both of your comments above mine, especially the idea of a Rogues' ongoing series....
I've heard some "grumblings" on review sites that it's becoming too "emotional" and "boring".....but I thought Rogues Rebellion #3 was great, and love that The Rogues are more than just a loose association of villains, but rather more like family.
My favorite part is the dialogue between Mirror Master & Heat Wave. Heat Wave talks tough, but in the end needs the Rogues just as much as they need him. I liked the "teaser" ending as well....

I liked the first issue, and the premise of the comic and first story arc....should be interesting to follow as Superman, Bruce Wayne, Wonder Woman, Barry Allen, & Hal Jordan struggle to "find" themselves...
